As my morning is starting… I’m exhausted and overwhelmed already. But I refuse to give in to it.
The throat is a little sore and sleep didn’t come easy last night. Thoughts kept swirling in my head and sleep was difficult.
Family, conflicts, needs, personalities. It’s all overwhelming. Physically and emotionally.
As I talk to friends, it seems that so many of you too are being stretched, tested, sifted……
Call it what you may… Dealing with the demands of life, troubles and the crazy personalities of family in particular.
The fight to maintain a good attitude and not slip into self-pity is a challenge. I refuse to lose that fight/challenge and give into my emotions and live in a miserable state…
This morning words of encouragement came through a song playing on the radio and I wanted to share them with you. Be encouraged!
The band Building 429 says it much better than I could: Hang in there, this is not our home…we are simply ON OUR WAY! Let’s do it with grace,
“Where I Belong”
All I know is I’m not home yet
So when the walls come falling down on me
All I know is I’m not home yet
When the earth shakes I wanna be found in You
All I know is I’m not home yet
